Monica Zamora - Feature Model #12 3/2013

Introducing Monica Zamora

1- What inspired you to do modeling? Was there a point early in your life that sparked your interest?
I use to be really self conscious so a friend of mine convinced me to do a shoot just to loosen up and gain some confidence. I fell in love with it. I started modeling at about 14 and haven't stopped.

2- You have dark elements to your style, was there an event or moment that made you decide on your style?
I always knew I was a little odd. I went through a hard time finding myself but I fell in love with pin up and metal. I guess my style is a bit of both.

3- Name some of your favorite music or bands?
My favorite bands are probably The Ghost Inside, Messhugga, and Behemoth. I definitely love metal the most.

Princess Chaos - Feature Model #11 3/2013

Introducing: Princess Chaos Alternative/Fetish Model, Industrial Dancer, Stage Performer

1- What inspired you to do modeling? Was there a point early in your life that sparked your interest?

Well, I always enjoyed being in front of the camera when I was young. A few years ago, a friend of mine asked me to do a photoshoot for his college project, and that was the day I fell in love with photography!  It was so amazing to let my imagination flow and to do what I wanted like I wanted it.

2- You have dark elements to your style, was there an event or moment that made you decide on your style?

Since I'm a little girl, I always had a problem with conformity. As a child I never wanted to be like my classmates. I was first just a little rebel girl and year by year I became darker and darker to get to what I am now. But don't think my character is as dark as my look, I'm probably the most happy person you'll ever meet ;) I love to prove to people that goths are not what they think they are!

3- Name some of your favorite music or bands?

Almost 99% of the time I listen only to Industrial (all kinds of Industrial) and sometimes some Metal, but my heart will always belong to Industrial like: Centhron, God Destruction, [x]-Rx, Incubite, Nachtmahr and Suicide Commando.

4- Name some of your accomplishments or highlights of your career so far?

I did a full page in Obscure Magasine, I'm an official model for Dasklub.com and been asked by a lot of Industrial bands to appear in their website, album artwork or to do industrial dance with them while they are playing on stage!

5- Do you enjoy regular photoshoots? or ones where you get to play a character?

I love photoshoots and do as much as I can, only because I love to create and let go my imagination in photo. My favorites one are obviously the one where I have to play a character, I love to find clothes and accessories to impersonate a character :) Its hard to find everything but at the end.... the result is over awesome :)

6- What other interest do you have besides modeling?

I'm an Industrial Dancer, you can see my videos on youtube.com/PrincessxChaosx, I do also stage performance for fetish events in Montreal! + I have a geek side no-one really knows except my closes friends, heheh ;)

7- Are there any significant projects or events you are looking forward to in the coming months?

Slayer - what the future holds! Tom interview

Tom Araya speaks about the future of Slayer in an exclusive interview with Soundwave TV's Christina

Necrocurse - Grip of the Dead

Pure metal flows voraciously through bodies of these Death metal rebels. The embodiment of their demons can be experienced in its raw form through listening to "Grip of The Dead". Necrocurse is a five piece band from Uddevalla / Ljungskile (SWE). Formed in 2004, this is their first full length album on Pulverised Records. The album intro is unassuming and leads into the first track "Necrocurse" a simple yet catchy guitar riff explodes into something that is death metal in its purest form. Its the kind of song that if you walked into a show and you heard it, you would immediately jump into the mosh pit. "Rotten in The Dark", a boot stomping style riff into a fast paced, sometimes thrash metal style drums pummeled your senses. "The Devil Cobra" has to be by far my favorite track from this album. An incarnation of everything metal from the very start, like a mad ride drinking whiskey setting things on fire hell storm. Full production was conceived at Sonic Train Studios with Andy La Rocque (King Diamond, Melechesh, Hammerfall) capturing every note in perfect quality without loosing any of its raw death metal projection.

Previous releases by Necrocurse include “Chaos Carnage Cataclysm” 2010 was five songs, later released in 2011 on two 7″ vinyls  and “Insane Curse of Morbidity” by the Norwegian label Aftermath Music. The cover art for this current release is reminiscent of Slayer's Reigning Blood but much more vivid and involved, it is by artist  David Herrerias. Zombies reaching from the depths of hell to a burning sky, fallen angels, it is eye catching and fitting for the sheer brutality of music composed. "Morbid Maniacs" continues my deep exploration of the band. Bands like Entombed and Carcass come to mind as I listen. "Speed to The Grave" enjoying the sound of the guitars, its the style of early DM which turned me on to this scene in the first place and it's good to hear it still been manifested on this album. "Coffin Breakers" has some very cool solos along with some memorable passages that will remain in my skull for many months to come. My journey ends with "Infernal Rebellion" paving a devilish death thrash road and leaving many bodies in its wake, with a scream like King Diamond introducing this beast, breathing fire from riff to riff it is a perfect way to end this and leaves me wanting more.

Ira Vampira - Feature Model #10 3/2013

New for the month March, introducing Ira Vampira

What inspired you to do modeling? Was there a point early in your life that sparked your interest?
I absolutely love taking photos of me and other people. I've actually had multiple people tell me they'd wish I'd post more pictures of me and my colorful hair style and make up. Shops asked me if i want to model for them. I was very surprised and flattered. It is a good feeling, and modeling has been my passion.
I decided to make this look useful to the world - like companies, people that want or need good looks to showcase, advertise or make known their products or whatever they are selling to the public.

You have dark elements to your style, was there an event or moment that made you decide on your style?
I'm a creative person. I dress and wear the make-up I do to express myself. I am creative in terms of my looks. Life is to short to be normal. I'm bored of all the unoriginality in this world. I'm bored of people that are too scared to stand out from the crowd. I don't want to live to regret my living days... I want to live to live and to make a statement. I want to encourage people to be original.

Name some of your favorite music or bands?
I love rock cover songs (punk goes pop), post-hardcore, screamo, emocore, alternative rock, indie rock... I like a lot of genres and bands. My favorite band is Amyst

Do you enjoy regular photoshoots? or ones where you get to play a character?
I like to change my style and play a character. Its interesting but I also like regular shoots.

What other interest do you have besides modeling?
My job  I`m a hairstylist. I Love hair, make up, shopping and animals... I love animals that's why I am a vegan.

Are there any significant projects or events you are looking forward to in the coming months?
No I will let myself be surprised.

If someone is interested in hiring you (modeling agency, bands, producers, etc..) where is the best place to get a hold of you?
