Czech Death Metallers HEAVING EARTH and Lavadome Productions have joined forces with Decibel Magazine for an exclusive full-album stream of Denouncing the Holy Throne.
The album, which offers a venom-soaked blend of technically-sound riffing, guttural vocals and an unapologetic adherence to Death Metal's blasphemous roots, can be heard in its entirety now at

Dark Descent Records to Release 'Darkness Beyond' from HACAVITZ
Dark Descent Records will release new HACAVITZ full-length Darkness Beyond, the next audio installment of the storied Mexican band's reign of terror. New track "Deadream" is streaming now
The new album is a musical departure for HACAVITZ. While long players like 2005's Venganza, 2007's Katun, and 2010's Metzli Obscura were grounded in bestial Death/Black Metal, on Darkness Beyond the group has shed it Death Metal influences in favor of superbly crafted Black Metal hymns. Ferocity and grimness permeate what turns out to contain the most memorable material of HACAVITZ's outstanding body of work.

CRYPTIC HYMN Offer free download of new track 'Revel In Disgust'
Formed in July 2014, Paducah, Kentucky’s CRYPTIC HYMN forge blackened death metal that’s diverse with its aggressive, grim and melodic approach. Featuring ex-Voyage of Slaves members Dave Palenske, Jon Grace, and Nathaniel Vowell as well as Josh Mumford of Anagnorisis, the band is currently in pre-production working on their debut release. In the meantime, they have unleashed their first single ‘Revel In Disgust’ at the following links below to show fans what they have brewing for 2015.
"We are proud and very excited to premiere our new single. "Revel In Disgust" is an up front outlook on humanity. The theme of the song is about learning from the negativity one experiences in life and setting yourself aside from it, or against it in effort to rise above it. We think it’s important to address issues that exist in reality, but those issues can also be interpreted through metaphors based on themes of fantasy or science fiction, for example. This is only a taste of things to come as we have big plans for 2015. Be prepared to catch us on the road in the near future! Cheers everyone!" - Cryptic Hymn

Progressive Metallers id. Streaming EP Title Track -Sagittarius A
With songwriting that is a progressive, heavy and catharsis, Vancouver, BC’s id. is a multi-layered metal force. Inspired by Sigmund Freud’s theory on the levels of the human psyche, the band’s front line introduction of their subconscious tendencies is unleashed in their debut EP ‘Sagittarius A’ due out Feb 10, 2014.
Written by guitarist Alex Dubreuil with words backed by Jason Pennington, the EP touches on topics such as inner struggle, world views, self-awareness to what’s beyond in outer space.
“We want people to connect with our message and enjoy the diversity of our sound. The music has evolved from quite unstructured abstract ideas to come around to find a comfort zone with no borders.” comments vocalist Jason Pennington.
Employing a style that is different compared to other progressive bands. id transcend genres in their four track debut, which features Vancouver metal scene veterans lyricist and vocalist Jason Pennington (Makaria), drummer Kris DeBoer (Grudge, Infernal Majesty, Artep), rhythm guitarist Tyson Araszewski (AutumnEx) and guitarist Alex Dubreuil (My Own Chaos) who also does bass on the EP.
With more songs in their arsenal for a full length to follow their EP and influenced by bands such as Opeth, Mastodon, Devin Townsend, Gojira, and Augury, id is sharing with metallers what’s to come as they push forward to put themselves on the map.

Poltergeist Remake Trailer preview
I'm not a fan of remakes. Here is the trailer for the Poltergeist remake due out this Summer. Produced by Sam Raimi. After watching this new trailer, I am still skeptical of how well it will hold up against the original film. I had heard rumors about it been more kid friendly, the trailer proves it is not even with the PG13 rating. Before passing any judgement I will just wait till it comes out and then render a verdict. I must say, when The Evil Dead remake came out I hate it completely and after watching it, I changed my mind.

Death Comes Pale - World Grave
Death Comes Pale is a five piece band from Herning Aarhus. Members are Bo Guldal -Guitars//Backing Vox, Lars Hjørnholm - Guitars/Synth, Martin Kilic - Drums, Kasper Hornstrup - Vox, Anders Stegmann - Bass. Genre described as Metal.
World Grave album released on September 30 2014 through Deepsend Records. The album features eleven monstorous songs. A relentless and punishing attack from the start. Grinding drums and killer distorted guitars come storming through my speakers. Bands like Immolation, Nile, Death and Kataklysm come to my mind as my initial thoughts. The song Spawn Of The Scorned literally melts faces. Some truly captivating riff work can be heard on this track and gets my blood pumping. The level of aggression in this album can not be contain. The track "Lips of the Dead" is crushing on all levels, intense double kicks and explosive tom rolls. The dual high and low vocals add to the brutality. The Purification Process song ignites the intensity to new heights. It comes in like the firing of a gatling gun. Intent on destruction, all boundaries are obliterated on this release.
As far as production, this is a top notch recording. Guitars have great tone and huge in distortion. Bass sounds amazing, thick and pummeling. Drums, as I stated before, are pure energy and relentless in sound. Vocals are demonic and add to the overall madness.
In conclusion, this release is a must have. Their approach to metal leaves a mark and sets a new level of power with each and every song. If you like the bands Dying Fetus, Origin, Cannibal Corpse, Obscura and Meshuggah then this will make a great addition to your collection. Don't pass this up, you will not be disappointed. ~Artemortifica
