Jeff Beck legendary guitarist passed away at 78

 A sad loss to the music community today as news of the legendary guitarist Jeff Beck passing today at age 78. 

A statement from his family posted to social media a few hours ago:

“On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing,” the statement said. “After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.”

The first time I listen to Jeff Beck was on Eric Clapton Crossroads DVD from 2007 performing with the line up of  Tal Wilkenfeld (bass) and Vinne Colaiuta (drums). I became a fan instantly and although I did not immediately buy his albums I did research and checked out his music on Youtube. The last I remember he was performing with Johnny Depp on stage. The two recorded together in 2019-2022

Its a big loss and he will be missed. RIP Jeff Beck.

Where is the band from? The music of Greek metal group Spektrvm (pronounced ‘Spectrum’) spreads wide across the chromatic political, religious and many other themes.
