Mystery Actions live performance at Reggies Chicago as part of the Thunderpussy Summer 2019 Tour in the US. Other performers at this event included Hollis Brown, Los Black Dogs and Thunderpussy. Mystery Actions members are: Nikki- Vocals, Lucy- Guitar, Mary Rose- Drums, Sarah- Bass Guitar. They describe themselves as All female punk rock n roll band from Chicago. They released three singles thru their bandcamp page, Count me Out, Drive and No Luck. This footage was filmed with Canon camera and Nikon Lens. NSOA is HARDCORE-THRASH-METAL-PUNK from Wisconsin, members are ZAKK Z (BASS AND VOX) ARLO Z. (GUITAR) AUG Z. (DRUMS) N.S.O.A. was formed in the early 90’s by brothers Zakk and Arlo Z. . In 1994 N.S.O.A. released their first self-titled CD and started playing shows locally more and more. In 1996 they released their second CD “Slam,Stomp,Mosh,Crush” . This record would put N.S.O.A. in the national circuit by landing them a slot on the ’96 VANS WARPED TOUR; this gave the band the opportunity to play for new and larger audiences. After listening to this LP for a very long time on my head set, it finally started to grow on me. At first it all sounded very chaotic and did not make much sense. My views have changed. The music delivers a certain heaviness while staying of the standard composition notes. Its a good blend of grind, thrash/black metal, punk and spacial melodies. On the southside of Edmonton in the dead of winter, Cold Lungs set out to gather friends from the local hardcore scene to record their first live video. It was shot entirely live off the floor in the practice space for Cold Lungs and a few other local bands. Chad Steeves Photography, Firth Photography, and a couple of GoPro's captured the madness that ensued. The entire EP New Pictures//Old Frames was played front to back (along with 2 older songs) by 3 frenzied young men. This video represents two parts: one dim and the other grim, the black and white filming gives viewers a sense of the atmosphere and the loud abrasive music showcases the aggression of the Edmonton Hardcore scene. The video spans just under 24 minutes covering every facet of their passionate performance.
