This event was the best way to kick off the summer in Chicago. I got tickets for this event early on, about three weeks ago to be exact. I have had the opportunity to film and take pictures of Immortal Bird and wanted to catch them in a big venue.  Normally I bring my main camera, the Canon T3i, to photograph a show but unfortunately on this day I had to go without it because of my travels. All I had with me was my phone so these next pics are not the best but I wanted to share them with you here. On a side note; the tickets I purchased were from EventBite, they were at a low price of sixteen dollars compared to the initial price point if sixty per ticket. I had the printout and even had the QR code on my phone. When we got to the front of the line the scanner did not work. We ended up going to the box office and were told that these were not going to work. I had to spend one hundred sixty-four to buy new tickets and get into the show. Just got some great news. We have a wealth of music spanning several years here from the band Anthemon. Read on and get excited!  Legendary French symphonic gothic/doom metal band Anthemon released their whole discography first time ever on streaming services via Finnish Inverse Records . The band was formed in January 1997 and they disbanded in 2007.  A sad loss to the music community today as news of the legendary guitarist Jeff Beck passing today at age 78.  A statement from his family posted to social media a few hours ago: “On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing,” the statement said. “After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.” The first time I listen to Jeff Beck was on Eric Clapton Crossroads DVD from 2007 performing with the line up of  Tal Wilkenfeld (bass) and Vinne Colaiuta (drums). I became a fan instantly and although I did not immediately buy his albums I did research and checked out his music on Youtube. The last I remember he was performing with Johnny Depp on stage.
