After Infinity is a new Finnish heavy/power metal band. Our music is a nice combination of heavy riffs, catchy melodies and symphonic orchestra with some unexpected twists here and there. 2- "A Game of Chess" is the band's upcoming single. How long did it take to compose and record it? We started writing songs for the upcoming album in 2021. Once all the songs were ready and demoed, we recorded most of the instruments in the summer and autumn of 2022. The last recordings took place in the spring of 2023, and we went into mixing. A Game of Chess was the third song we mixed, and soon after it was finished we decided to master and release it to give people the first taste of AI! 3- What musical influences inspire the band's compositions? Greetings and please give a warm welcome to Spektrvm 1- Hello and welcome to Metal Music Midwest, first off, thanks for taking the time to do the interview, could you give our readers a brief description of the group? Where is the band from? The music of Greek metal group Spektrvm (pronounced ‘Spectrum’) spreads wide across the chromatic political, religious and many other themes. We are 5 different people, with 5 different musical tastes, and that always makes it interesting to see where the mix of ideas and styles will take us. 2- "Blood For Heaven" is the band's first full album, how long did it take to write? Ideas for the album had been forming since the early days it was formed back in 2016, but when we actually decided to write songs and create an almost concept album, the first half took about a year to form, and the other 5 songs, a little less than that.
