1 - Hello and welcome to Metal Music Midwest, first off, thanks for taking the time to do the interview, could you give our readers a brief description of the group?

Where is the band from?  


BOSTON MA 


2- "band GIA G  album Cosmic Wave  EP  name" is the band's (first etc) full album, how long did it take to write?   


GIA G.     EP. came  is 3 song EP called Cosmic Wave , released Jan 25th 2022.  took a few months to to do , along with 2 music videos ,  Cosmic Wave and Reminiscing 



3- What musical influence inspires the bands compositions?  


Many ,  From Van Halen , Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani , Steve Vai , Alan Holdsworth , Ledzepplin , Queen ,  Yngwie Malmsteen, Paggini ,  Ozzy , Ronie James Dio , Iron Maiden ,Metallica , Tool,  The Beatles , Elvis , The  Eagles,  Aerosmith ,  Many ect 


4- The group started in (YEAR) 2012, can you tells us how did you all meet?  


My solo project officially started in 2012 , but first released was in 2013 what the single and music video The Chase ,  i meet the drumme Mark George through another Guitar player  and bass player Paul Engle through  my engineer Richard Marr in 2017 


5- The new album title is (Title)Cosmic Wave , can you give us details about the content and more in depth meaning to this title?


Yes, its a three song EP.  Its a step in a different direction for me , I went into some fusion style with varies scales and modes, and more bluesy to , plus with the song Reminiscing , I played slap acoustic style , the meaning is about flying through the cosmos  :)


6- Each member of this project is part of another band, how do you maintain a good balance working together?  


The drummer is in varies tribute bands ,  the bass player is not. We usually work together when the recording of there parts come up, I do all my recordings in my home studio and all the writing. 

 

7- Have you performed any shows in your area? if so, how receptive and supportive are the people to your music? 


Yes, I have performed in my other project Devil In The Mist with the same drummer and bass player , and have played with a NH based metal band doing lead guitar to. Its been great response, not the same music as GIA G. 


8- Are there any upcoming shows or tours you can tell us about?  


No, there have been many offers with the response of the EP, but i'd rather focus on the full length album that I am working on.

Greetings and please give a warm welcome to Spektrvm 1- Hello and welcome to Metal Music Midwest, first off, thanks for taking the time to do the interview, could you give our readers a brief description of the group? Where is the band from? The music of Greek metal group Spektrvm (pronounced ‘Spectrum’) spreads wide across the chromatic political, religious and many other themes. We are 5 different people, with 5 different musical tastes, and that always makes it interesting to see where the mix of ideas and styles will take us.   2- "Blood For Heaven" is the band's first full album, how long did it take to write? Ideas for the album had been forming since the early days it was formed back in 2016, but when we actually decided to write songs and create an almost concept album, the first half took about a year to form, and the other 5 songs, a little less than that.
